2006 Winter Olympics
February 10, 2006

I’m busy, y’all. The Opening Ceremony for the Olympics is on tonight. The kiddos and I are planted in front of the TV, and I’ve got my Bailey’s in hand.
Items of interest:
North and South Korea entered under one flag, though they are competing as separate teams.
No Iraqi team. I don’t blame ‘em - sandy luge, anyone? Iran fielded a few, and Israel has eleven.
Poor Moldava had to borrow money in order to send their tiny team to Torino. :(
So far, my daughter and I agree that Germany and Italy had the best opening night outfits - Germany for color, and Italy for pure style. :)
The Ferrari pit stop was pretty darn cool! I’ll bet that’s never been done before.
OK, gotta go! Have a great weekend everyone!
Thoughts on the National Abortion Federation
December 23, 2005
I was pointed n the direction of this blog, which is apparently pretty new. However, after reading this post, I think it’s a winner.
If abortion becomes illegal again, the NAF will have no reason to exist, and the livelihoods of all their members will be gone. That is why the first thing you see when you go to their website is their opposition to Samuel Alito.
“This nomination fulfills President Bush’s promise to the radical right to nominate a conservative justice who would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, thereby endangering women’s lives and health.”
Yep, the lives and health of women. No mention of course of the lives or health of the babies being ripped apart and vacuumed up in the process of paying the bills. The NAF can’t even admit the little beings they carve up are human at all, not even to themselves, because that would mean the NAF and all their members are monsters who kill babies for money. Once they admit such a thing, not only can they no longer live with themselves, but they will no longer be able to pay their mortgages.
Planned Parenthood Hides Crimes
December 16, 2005
World Net Daily reports that Planned Parenthood just got busted, again.
After drawing attention from pro-life groups, Planned Parenthood’s San Francisco affiliate removed from its website a purported letter from a girl thanking the abortion provider for helping conceal from her parents a rape that occurred when she was 11.
In other words, this 11-year-old was raped, got pregnant, and had an abortion, all without her parents knowing…and Planned Parenthood was behind it all.
In an incredibly chilling side note, Life Dynamics called PP and National Abortion Federation offices across the country and pretended to be a 13-year-old girl who was pregnant from a 22-year-old boyfriend.
The caller told the clinics she wanted an abortion “because she and her boyfriend did not want her parents to find out about the sexual relationship,” a summary of the report stated.
Among the findings was that many clinic workers acknowledged the girl’s situation was illegal and that they were required by law to report it, but an “overwhelming majority readily agreed” to keep secret the illegal sexual contact.
Life Dynamics said that in 91 percent of its calls, the person reached at the center agreed to conceal the statutory rape. [emphasis mine]
Planned Parenthood argues that reporting crimes violates doctor-patient confidentiality. Problem is, they’re wrong and they know it.
Life Dynamic President Mark Crutcher insists Planned Parenthood understands the law, noting his group has a tape recording of the abortion provider’s top two national attorneys admitting that child-abuse reporting laws override confidentiality requirements in every state.
Of course, what do you expect from a group linked to selling murdered baby parts?
Nearly two years ago, Kelly says, the doctor in charge entered her office holding twins at 24 weeks gestation — both gasping for air — and told her they were “good specimens.” Expected to end the lives of the premature infants and harvest their organs, Kelly says she told the doctor, “I don’t do this. That’s not in my contract.” The doctor subsequently placed the twins in a pan and poured sterile water over them, she says, adding that she left the room as they drowned.
Leading Stem Cell Researcher a Fraud
December 16, 2005
This one’s big news, but I guarantee it doesn’t MAKE big news. Turns out stem cell research isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The Korean responsible for its advances faked it all.
Most and possibly all of the human embryonic stem cell cultures reportedly made by a South Korean research team this year were fake, a member of the team told Korean news outlets yesterday.
Roh Sung Il, an executive at MizMedi Hospital in Seoul, said stem cell pioneer Hwang Woo Suk told him that nine of 11 reported cell lines were faked. Roh reportedly said he had doubts about the remaining two lines.
Roh also said that Hwang told him that his stem cells had died and that he had presented ones from Roh’s laboratory as his own in their research paper in the journal Science. According to the news reports, the two agreed they would ask the journal to retract the paper, which was published May 19.
That paper and another landmark report by Hwang’s group, published last year, had documented the first successful creation of embryonic stem cells from cloned human embryos — a big step toward the ability to grow customized tissues for transplantation into people with failing organs.
Would now be a bad time for an “I told you so”?
If the allegations turn out to be true, the impact on the stem-cell science community will be huge. Other evidence of cloned human cells, produced by Hwang’s group in 2004, could also be called into question. “We must wonder about the whole lot,” says Alan Colman, chief executive at ES Cell International in Singapore.
“The effect on the hopes of the people and the financing of science in the area would be huge. It would leave a stain on all research in this area and lead to a lot of soul searching,” says Colman.
Well, there went another “defense for abortion.”

SCOTUS Blog: has the President’s statement of his “reluctant” acceptance of the Miers’ withdrawal. Here’s an excerpt:
I understand and share her concern, however, about the current state of the Supreme Court confirmation process. It is clear that Senators would not be satisfied until they gained access to internal documents concerning advice provided during her tenure at the White House - disclosures that would undermine a President’s ability to receive candid counsel. Harriet Miers’ decision demonstrates her deep respect for this essential aspect of the Constitutional separation of powers - and confirms my deep respect and admiration for her.
I am grateful for Harriet Miers’ friendship and devotion to our country. And I am honored that she will continue to serve our Nation as White House Counsel.
My responsibility to fill this vacancy remains. I will do so in a timely manner.

Captain’s Quarters: “The face-saving withdrawal option presented by Sam Brownback and Linsday Graham took only a matter of days to get recognized by the White House. Good for them. It won’t save them from some criticism, but it will make this into the nine-day wonder it should always have been. Now can we nominate a candidate whose qualities and track record presumes we control the Senate?”
GOP and the City: “Icy Hot Judgaz Member Withdraws Nomination: Last week, I came out of my peyote induced haze to find out a Supreme Court nominee from President Bush might be filibustered by Republicans while supported by Democrats. At the time, I thought that I was just having a bad trip and soon the little midget with a mullet wearing lederhosen would return from under my bed to relentlessly kick me in my shins. But it was not to be.”
Jo’s Cafe: Open Post
Real Clear Politics: “A more speculative interpretation of the timing of the withdrawal is that the President knows there are indictments coming down tomorrow and needs to have his base support consolidated. He can use news of a new appointment to deflect attention from any possible bad news from the Fitzgerald investigation.
Indictments or not, expect Bush to nominate someone who will immediately set off a firestorm from liberal special interest groups and provoke a major battle on the hill that will get his administration off the defensive.”
Polipundit: “My feeling towards the entire Miers affair is one of disappointment. Disappointment that the lady was put through a wringer with scarcely any defenders at all. Disappointment that many of us conservatives had to publicly break with the president on such an important issue. Disappointment that this had such a political downside, instead of being a rallying point.”
La Shawn Barber: “What did Bush learn? Maybe he learned that the people who put him in office actually expect him to be a conservative with common sense and choose someone qualified to sit on the highest court in the land, and not an unknown-quantity crony. We’ll see.”
Rottweiler: “Yeah, yeah, yeah, Harriet. Whatever. You and I both know that you did this because the President told you to and that all the “best interest of the country†stuff is just there to help Dubya save face (note to self: Isn’t it curious that the only time Bush seems unwilling to openly back down, cringe, compromise and surrender is when he’s facing his own base?).
Anyway, that doesn’t matter. You fell on your sword like a good and loyal servant should and I have nothing but praise for that. Seriously. I’m sure you’ll be rewarded in some way in the future, as well you should be.”

America Can Only Die By Suicide
August 26, 2005
I’m not a church-goer, but sometimes I come across something that makes me stand up and holler, “Glory, hallelujah! Preach it, brother!” I found such a post today, and you are so lucky ‘cuz I’m gonna take you with me to the Church of American Truth, y’all:
This powerful essay is from Uncivil Rights. Just for those of you too lazy to click your butt over there, I’m excerpting the entire passage, ‘cuz you can’t miss it! Bookmark him, drop by and tell him you are evangelized and galvanized!!
To all the Pacifists, anti-war Liberals, and the Liberal Media:
No military on earth can defeat the United States military in a conventional war, none. No terrorist, terrorist cells or group of armed combatants can defeat the U.S. military. The terrorists know this.
It is not the intent of the terrorists to defeat the U.S. on the battlefield or in the streets of some city or town. The terrorists would be killed, and they know this. Terrorists do NOT wage this war with the U.S. and its western ideology on the battlefield or in the streets. They are waging this war in the hearts and minds of the American people.
One of the reasons for the war in Iraq was to fight the terrorists in their own country and minimize any civilian casualties here on U.S. soil. Unfortunately the terrorists are waging this war here, and they didn’t even cross the borders of Mexico or Canada. They are in the hearts and minds of the pacifists, anti-war liberals, and the liberal media. They have already defeated these people. They have taken and broken their will to fight (if they had any to begin with). The terrorists have won, and the pacifists, anti-war liberals, and the liberal media are the casualties.
But this war on terror continues. The terrorists have not only defeated these anti-war people and the media, they have successfully recruited them to fight this war for them here on American soil. These anti-war individuals and the media are spreading the propaganda of the terrorists and attempting to turn the thoughts and opinions of others against the U.S. and its military.
Their goal is to break the will of the American people to the point of pulling our troops out of the middle-east and stop fighting. This will show the weakness of the American people. This will bring victory to the terrorists. This is the goal of the pacifists, anti-war liberals, the liberal media, and the Democratic Party.
There are no doubts the pacifists, anti-war liberals, the liberal media, and the Democratic Party are fighting for the terrorists. They can claim they support our troops. They can say they love our country. The Democrats can continue to state they are the party of defense and homeland security. Actions speak much louder than words, and their actions contradict their rhetoric. These are home-grown terrorists, and they are fighting this war on terror against America, on American soil.
We can only be destroyed from within.
Abraham Lincoln
January 27, 1838
“The Perpetuatuion of our Political Institutions”“Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bounaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.
At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”
Ravings of a Mad Tech
August 26, 2005
Oh yeah, nothing like a little insanity to get the creativity flowing. The Mad Tech has a few fantastic insights I’d like to share with you.
John Kerry, the new poster child for the FOIA:
Seems that I am not the only one who thinks that John Kerry is being hypocritical by calling for the release of all documents relating to the President’s recent choice for the Supreme Court, Judge John Roberts, while still not releasing his own records in their entirely. Johnny boy is still trying to hedge his bets about the 2008 Presidential election and get by with releasing a portion of his Form 180 records. Well in my humble opinion, trying to be truthful by releasing part of your records to a couple of your friends just does not fly with the most of the American people and certainly not in my book…
Pentagon cannot find Able Danger Documentation, second Officer comes forward to verify claim.
Seems that the Pentagon is now claiming that they are unable to locate the Able Danger documentation that names Atta and his crew as the New York terror cell all the while a second Naval Officer is confirming the claims of the intelligence group. Now the thought has occurred to me that some of the missing documents could have found their way into Sandy Berger’s pants and socks but that just might be the paranoia talking…
The Terrorist Group CAIR flexes its muscles on American soil.
Omar M. Ahmad, CAIR’s chairman of the board, stated, “Muslim institutions, schools and economic power should be strengthened in America, he said. Those who stay in America should be “open to society without melting (into it),” keeping mosques open so anyone can come and learn about Islam, he said. “If you choose to live here (in America) … you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam,” he said. Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant, he said. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth. “
[Now if that don't chap yer hide, I don't know what will!]
And so the Mad Tech raves on. Go read more.

A selfish logger decides to destroy the environment and cause global warming by cutting down a tree. With a load of lumber on his oversized, non-hybrid truck, he decides to sell his lumber for $100 to a very wealthy individual who is among the very few to receive Bush’s tax cuts. The cost of his production is $80, which includes the required payoff to Karl Rove.

Someone Actually Gets It
August 24, 2005
JammedGun brings us this Iowa congressman who, bless his heart, understands the problem with illegal immigration. In fact, he gets it so well, he wants to build a fence. Read on!
“This is about presidential politics. I make no bones about it,” [Republican Representative] King said. “I want Iowans to understand immigration policy, and I want them to challenge the presidential candidates when they get here and ask them the hard questions.”
King has drafted a bill that makes it impossible for employers to take tax breaks for wages and benefits they pay illegals. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) shares King’s views, saying that they “want candidates running for president to have clear and aggressive plans for dealing with immigration,” before the Iowa caucuses.
There’s no doubt immigration will play a huge role in the next election. Especially with people like Flavia Jimenez of La Raza involved. While the Des Moines Register describes Jimenez as “an immigration policy analyst for the National Council of La Raza, a national Hispanic advocacy group”, they fail to mention that some of the things La Raza stands for are legislation offering in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens wishing to go to college, amnesty and legality for all illegals living in the U.S., and much, much more. Guess what Jimenez had to say about King and Tancredo’s comments and proposals?
“The proposals are completely absurd.” Well, Flavia, of course they are. Why? Because they seek to keep America from turning into the nasty little country Mexico is. If it’s so great in Mexico, if the culture is so fantastic and everything’s so wonderful, why are millions pouring in a year across the border? More importantly, has anyone stopped to think that coming here and turning the southwestern U.S. into Mexico will just give you more of what you left to come here? Let’s think about this a moment. At what point do they plan to stop? Alaska? Maybe they have an agreement going on with the Islamic terrorists. Maybe they’ll meet somewhere halfway and split the winnings.

Cindy Sheehan the Terrorist
August 22, 2005
I realize that I’ve been asked to blogcott Cindy Sheehan, and I want to. But then again, I can’t stop posting about her disgusting, anti-American remarks. Her son is a hero, and God bless him for what he did in the name of my freedom and safety. But every second that his mother spends talking is just another spitball on his grave. Her remarks last week show that she’s not even worth the sacrifice her own son made for her.
At this point, Cindy Sheehan is like a merry-go-round for the liberals. Everyone gets a ride. At first I thought that perhaps she just happened to lose her sanity a bit after the death of her son. I can certainly relate to that. Sadly, it looks now like Ms. Sheehan has been an anti-American all along. Swept up into the “Bush Lied, Kids Died!” maelstrom, Sheehan found herself at an anti-America rally in San Francisco recently. Flanked by upstanding Communists and terrorists like convicted attorney Lynne Stewart and Jess Ghannam, Sheehan played the violin of her son Casey’s death one more time.
“George Bush and his neo-conservatives killed my son,†she said tearing up a bit. “America has been killing people on this continent since it was started. This country is not worth dying for.â€
The sad thing is, her son died, voluntarily, for something so much braver and bigger than anything Cindy Sheehan can possibly fathom in her weak little mind. And as Jason from Generation Why? says, “if it’s been that bad for 200 years, why doesn’t she just leave? I mean, she’s not making the argument that it was once good and now is bad. She’s claiming America has been terrible for 100+ years before she came into existence.”
Just in case you plan on throwing a fit about my use of the words “communists”, “terrorists”, and “anti-American” to describe this rally, take a look at this. It’s the flyer passed around at the event.

By the way, this was held at SFSU. If you have a child in college, this is the kind of thing you’re paying for. Liberals love the colleges. Robert Journey, treasurer of the San Francisco State University College Republicans, had a question of his own.
“Why can’t we get anyone but criminals to come here to SFSU and speak?â€
One can only hope that stupid people like Cindy Sheehan decide the U.S. is so horrifying they can no longer stand to live here. Maybe she’ll go visit the men who really killed her son. After she’s done congratulating them for having the “courage” to stand against the U.S., and once she gets on her knees to “apologize” for America “slaughtering” them, they’ll behead her for being an infidel.
Perhaps this is the one case in favor of stupid people breeding. Thank you, Cindy, for giving us Casey. Now go home.
Spotlight on Illegal Alien Crime
August 20, 2005
A month ago, I posted a very strong opinion about the baby that was shot by LAPD while her raving, border-jumping, drugged-put sperm donor used her as a human shield. The topic turned into a very heated thread of discussion. Well, since the baby died, the LAPD has been protested, picketed, and even attacked by anti-cop Hispanic “activists”, and Baby Suzy’s mother has stepped-up the fiscal and legal ante by demanding a federal probe. I had opined that she could smell the big pay-off at the other end of her flamboyant and hysterical grandstanding. So I was right, and I hate it.
Even more tragic than the abuse of our legal system by an avaricious and racist immigrant, is the tragedy of Baby Suzy’s health abuse prior to her kidnapping and death at the hands of her father: she was suffering from cocaine poisoning.
For it turns out that the real “brutality†against baby Pena even preceded her father’s decision to use her as a human sandbag. There was enough cocaine in circulation in the Lopez home to have found its way into the baby’s bloodstream in the days before the shooting.
The reason I bring up Baby Suzy again, is because her fateful story is shining an uncomfortable spotlight on the concept of virtuous Hispanic family values - when in fact the hispanic immigrants are plagued by the highest rates of out-of-wedlock child bearing and high school drop-out rates in the nation. That is not an opinion, it is fact.
To be sure, many immigrants lead exemplary lives of self-discipline, self-improvement, and economic striving. But while no one has been paying attention, a growing proportion of Hispanic immigrants—illegal and legal alike—are developing full-blown underclass habits, including uncontrolled gang violence, which are already costing the country dearly in welfare, social services, and prison expenses.
In other news of crimes commited by illegal aliens, in an article in the North Country Times, Rick Reiss, takes a look at the kind of “work” that some of these illegal immigrants are performing for us.
- Adrian Camacho will soon stand trial for the murder of Oceanside police officer Tony Zeppetella. Deported several times to Mexico, Camacho’s only known occupation was a gang member. In a jailhouse letter received by law enforcement, Camacho wrote that “the only good cop is a dead cop.”
- Hong Chen, a “laborer” and illegal immigrant from China is wanted by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation. Convicted of sexual assault on a child, Chen was last seen in Los Angeles.
- Andres Camacho-Avalos is another criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico who is wanted by ICE for deportation. Camacho-Avalos was convicted of two counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14.
- Wanted by the FBI, Arnoldo Dejesus Garcia has a work history as a dishwasher. Dejesus Garcia is a criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico wanted for forcible lewd acts on a child under 14, forcible rape and assault with intent to commit a felony. This “hard-working immigrant” has ties to San Diego.
- Rigoberto Leon Nino, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, is wanted by the San Diego County sheriff for vehicular manslaughter of a mother and one of her two small daughters. A past resident of Vista, the safe bet is that Leon Nino absconded to Mexico.
Of course, these cases are just the tip of the immigration iceberg. Immigration’s Human Cost will shock you with the enormous number of Americans who have been harmed by the criminals who pass through the nation’s open borders. It is particularly shocking that even in post-911 America, our government still refuses to protect the people in the most basic ways from the world’s terrorists and criminals who enter at will to do as they please. The borders remain a sieve while the human carnage from crime perpetrated from illegal aliens continues to mount.
It’s bad enough that Americans must contend with our own homegrown rapists and murderers. Do we really need to outsource to other countries for criminals as well?
Mexico Involved in Extortion - Of the U.S.
July 18, 2005
As if their actively assisting illegal immigrants and obstructing justice isn’t enough, now they’re flat out committing extortion. Jorge Castaneda, who is Vicente Fox’ former foreign minister, spoke before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and stated that:
“There can be no future cooperation [on border security and anti-terrorism measures] beyond what already exists without some form of immigration package”
What? Excuse me? “Let all our illegal immigrants stay in your country, and we’ll think about securing the border.” Like hell they will. I don’t believe that for one second. Plus, Chris Kelly says that when Castaneda was working for Fox, he said the following:
“What’s important is that American society sees a possible migratory agreement in a positive light,” Castaneda said. “We are already giving instructions to our consulates that they begin propagating militant activities — if you will — in their communities.”
FAIR’s response to yesterday’s spewing was a very strong press release.
“When anyone, much less a former foreign minister of a supposedly friendly nation, comes before a committee of the United States Senate, and issues ultimatums and thinly veiled threats against the United States, one would expect outrage and condemnation from members of Congress. Instead, we got meek acquiescence or deafening silence from the members who were present,” said Stein. “If the government of Mexico is not prepared to join us in this struggle, without conditions, then they cannot claim to be an ally and our government must view them as such. Allies do not engage in extortion.”
FAIR is calling upon the Bush Administration and Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice to formally protest Castaneda’s demands with the Mexican government. “If Colin Powell were to make similarly outrageous demands in a foreign capital, we would expect a reply and repudiation from the American government. We should expect no less from the current government of Mexico,” Stein said.
I’ll tell you what. You need to call your Senators. Write letters. Protest. Dear G-d, do something. This is incredible. Plus, if this is how Mexico feels, then they are not our ally. They are an enemy whose threat needs to be eliminated.
In 50 years, when it’s considered a badge of honor to have NOT served in the military; when the Lefties wake up one day and think “How the hell did we get conquered?”, I hope they think back to times like this. Bunch of dumbass pussies.
