Congress supports the troops. In fact, they support the troops so much that they slapped some sneaky amnesty BS into a bill allowing funding for the war. And I mean funding for things like, you know, ammo and armor and things that will keep our guys fighting and not getting killed.

As if that’s not enough, here’s the list of other things they’ve been working on while our men live and fight in disgusting, terrifying conditions:

HR 1147: Congratulating the Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team

HR 305: Recognizing the importance of bicycling

HR 1144: Expressing support for a “Frank Sinatra Day”

HR 1152: Honoring Arnold Palmer

HR 1074: Honoring the anniversary of the Crazy Horse Memorial

I’m going to let you @$$-clowns in on a little secret.

1. We don’t care about the NKU basketball team.
2. We’re going to gloss over the fact that you’re passing a resolution supporting men in spandex.
3. Arnold Palmer? Come on now. How about some real examples, like one of the Medal of Honor recipients?
4. I have no words for this one. We’re going to honor a carved mountain that won’t even be done for how many years?

Congress needs to realize, as B5 says, “WE’RE IN A DAMN WAR, PEOPLE!”
