Bush Makes Remarks About Appeasers and Angers…The Appeasers

Everyone’s up in arms about the comments President Bush made while at the Knesset in Israel. Pelosi’s whining that it’s “beneath the office of the President,” Biden’s coming unglued, and all the Dems are lining up behind to slap someone’s wrist and say “poo on you.”
What’s the horrible quote in question?
“Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” Bush said in an address to the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, on Thursday. “We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is - the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”
What’s the ruckus about? I say amen, amen, and kudos to Bush for saying it. Of course, it’s a bit late, since anti-war appeasement Dems are about as out of control as can be. But the sentiment is nice.

There’s only one reason why they’re making such a fuss. Its because they believe that they are firmly back in power again. In their minds they’ve already won the presidency. They’re chastising the minority party. It actually goes further than that. This is a “not so veiled threat” to conservatives to be careful what they say.
With the dem’s in control of the Presidency and 70% of the legislative come 1/20/09, “we who speak out” should expect punishment of some sort. We should all have our houses in order. Don’t cheat on your taxes, etc. They’ll use anything against those who speak out. Especially under Obama. We think the Clintons were vindictive?? Nothing compared to what it’ll be like in an Obama regime. DD
Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. There were no weapons of mass destruction.
The U.S. Administration was embarrassed two weeks ago when the
Army’s final report on explosive devices being used in Iraq, if proof could be found they were coming from Iran. The Army concluded they couldn’t have come from Iran, due to an analysis of explosive signatures, their design, fabrication techniques, metallurgy, etc. They came from somewhere else – possibly even Israel.
At this point, it’s clear we need a general court martial convened by two flag –level officers from each branch of the military. This court would decide when and how to turn George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and several others, over to the UN War Crimes Court in the Netherlands for indictment and trial.
.Even after these individuals exit public office, it is the obligation of the United States to turn them over. The U.S. is a signatory to all four Geneva Conventions. Once ratified, this became law of the land within the U.S. and violations are felonies.
If found guilty of the lesser of the war crimes, such as wanton destruction of civilian and historical sites, with the intent of spreading terror, and to force depopulation and create refugees - punishment would likely be prison time of no more than ten years. The operation of torture camps and the intentional targeting of women and children for thrill killings, and the hiding of evidence of these crimes and tampering with investigations would result in more severe sentences – possibly even hanging.
Those officers that actively participated in these atrocities or in their cover-ups would be as culpable as those committing the crimes themselves. They would not have, ‘I was following orders’ as a defense.
It is clearly time for Americans to do some soul-searching. We have murdered tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. In the course of an invasion and occupation that were fully based on a series of known lies and fabrications. These were carried out with criminal intent.
We are now in the process of committing the same lies and fabrications, only this time it’s about Iran.
Each of us must decide now, before it is too late. An attack on Iran would be as illegal and criminal. The potential for other nations to be drawn into such wider, needless war, along with the high probability of the U.S. employing nuclear weapons would be disastrous.

The U.S. would have been justified inserting teams of counter terrorism units into Saudi Arabia, to destroy their strongholds. We did not. The Bush family’s fortunes are extremely close to the Bin Laden family, and to those that planned the attacks of 9-11. John McCain is a large shareholder in a charter air company that quietly whisked all members of the Bin Laden family and Saudi Royals family out of the U.S., the day after 9-11, while the rest of the country was enduring a full shutdown of commercial air travel. That same air charter proprietary front company.
If an attack on Iran is perpetuated, it would likely be preceded by a false-flag action carried out by Israel or the U.S.
If that war commences, it will be time for all enlisted and officer to render their consciences and walk away.
Someday your grandchildren will be asking whether you stood up for reason and the law, or if you were swept up with the mass hysteria, delusions and hyped fear and hatred that bankrupted our nation for generations to come.
They will ask what you did to try to stop the insanity
